SolitAir has launched a new freight services to Ghana via Accra International Airport (ACC), extending its African network to 21 destinations across 17 countries.
The addition of Ghana follows SolitAir’s recent commencement of services to Nigeria.
The new 6,250 km connection between Accra and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), the home base of SolitAir, boosts capacity in a route that is dominated by Ghana’s main exports of gold, foodstuff and perishables.
SolitAir says the new destination brings its total global network to over 60 destinations across more than 40 countries spanning the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.
The carrier operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737-800BCF freighters, each with a 20-tonne cargo capacity, from its 20,440 sqm state-of-the-art hub facility at DWC.

Besides Ghana, SolitAir’s African coverage includes Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Guinea, Kenya, Libya, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Somaliland, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
SolitAir aims to operate a fleet of 20 aircraft by the end of 2027.
