Glasgow-based Loganair has swapped a number of items relating to its in-flight service.

With immediate effect, coffee across the network is switching to Lavazza, while bottled water is changing to Highland Spring, a move that also reduces plastic use onboard. Children flying with Loganair will now be offered sweets as part of the inflight service, and Dean’s Shortbread replaces Walkers as the airline’s shortbread of choice.

Luke Farajallah, CEO, said: “We’ve put the aircraft and the reliability in place, and now it’s time to invest in the experience customers have onboard. Lavazza coffee, Highland Spring water and Dean’s Shortbread aren’t small details, they’re proof that gold standard service and regional connectivity go hand in hand".

The move is part of a larger modernisation plan, following the roll-out of an ATR fleet to replace the older Saab 340s.
